• Would you rather visit another country or travel within your own country?

I prefer to visit another country, because there are things  that  are very different from our country.
First, in countries around the world there are different kinds of places with animals and plants that there aren't in Costa Rica, for example elephants, lions, tigers, big trees, and forest with plants that we don´t have here.

I would like to go sight seeing for places where I can see all of this amazing things, and take many photos. Some of these places where I would like to visit are: Brazil, China, South Africa, and Canada.

Another reason why I would like to travel to another country is to learn and know about other cultures. For example: traditions, the form of dress, foods, and all that is different from Costa Rica´s culture.

Finally, I would like to visit places in countries that have new and amazing technology, like China and Japan. For this reasons, I prefer to visit another country.

• What do good manners show about a person?

Good manners are important in our daily life, because a person who is polite shows respect for the other people, manners like greeting, shaking elbows off  the table, holding the door for someone, showing that you are educated and out going. Then, good manners can help you to keep a job, have a chance for a promotion in your job, or even get a good job.

Good manner can help you in other areas of your life, because people can know a lot about you thanks to your manners, if you are impolite, probably the other people don´t want to meet you and think that are nasty.

For this reasons, it is important to have good manners, this lets you to have good relationship with other people.

Writing task #3

A man is speaking with the police, because one hour ago, two person robbed his computer when he was eating in a restaurant. The two person ran to the street and  after taken a taxi, and the man didn't do nothing to avoid the crime. So he walked to the street and began to look for some policemen, but suddenly, he didn't find any policemen, for this reason he had to walk many blocks, and in a park, he saw two policemen, he ran to the place where they were, and he told them about his problem.

The policemen asked about the description of the persons, but the man, only remember that one of the person was slim and the other was thin and had moustache.

So, finally, one of the policeman said to the man that they didn't do nothing, because her description was very bad and also, probably the two person weren't nearby the city.

Time is Money:

Today, time is very important, because we live in a competitive world, where if you don't use time correctly, others take advantage of you, mainly when you are in the business world. For this reason, every minute and every second is important, you need time to earn money, so time es money.

Money Doesn't Grow on Trees:

If you want earn money you have to work very hard everyday , and do in the best form possible, and this is not easy, for this reason, "money doesn't grow on trees", because life is hard, and you have to work so you do the things that you want.

Writing Task #1

I think that it's more important to enjoy your job, because when you like the things that you do, and you can enjoy these things, you do it in a better way, so if an employee doesn't like to work doing what he has to do, probably he won't be hardworking, and he won't be organized, and probably, some years later after working in this job, the person realizes that he is unhappy. You would make a lot of money, but it would be more difficult for you to enjoy when you spend it.

On the other hand, when you enjoy your job, you would be dependable and you can have more qualifications, and for this reasons, your performance is a better, and if you work hard, you'll probably get a promotion and a raise, and in the future you will be a manager of a big company and earn a higher salary. But you will get happiness and this is this most important.

Experiencia Freshman

Creo que el curso de Freshman fue una gran experiencia, ya que me ayudo a saber como actuar en diferentes situaciones, tanto laborales, como en la vida cotidiana. Además logre aprender puntos muy importantes a la hora de buscar trabajo, de trabajar y de resolver conflictos entre compañeros y hasta con los jefes. Espero poder poner en uso todo lo aprendido en cada día que pasa, y sobretodo, en el futuro, en mi trabajo, y así ser una mejor persona en todos los ámbitos. 

Entrevista

Cuando uno va a una entrevista, es de suma importancia ir bien vestido, ya que eso demuestra el interés que uno tiene hacia el trabajo. Luego poner total atención a la persona encargada de entrevistar, tratando siempre de responder de forma concreta y sin salirse del tema. Algo muy importante, es admitir cuando uno no sabe la respuesta a una pregunta, ya que responder mal, bueno significar puntos menos para el entrevistado. Asimismo hay que tener confianza en uno mismo, y saber a lo vamos.
